These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the website orumio.com (the "Site"), operated by Masanori Iwata (Sole proprietor, "we" / the "Operator") under the "Orumio" brand. By using the Site, you ("user") agree to these Terms.

1. Application and Changes

These Terms apply to all matters related to your use of the Site.
We may revise these Terms as needed. We will announce material changes on the Site or by email, and the revised Terms will apply thereafter.

3. What the Site Provides

The Site provides an Orumio brand introduction and validation landing pages ("validation LPs") for new product hypotheses.

The Site does not provide a product. It presents new product concepts to the public to validate interest.
On validation LPs, we may collect pre-registration details (such as an email address) from interested users. Pre-registration is free.
We do not provide paid services through the Site or charge for anything.

4. Pre-registration

Pre-registration is voluntary. Whether you pre-register or not does not affect any future service terms.
Information collected at pre-registration is handled per the Privacy Policy.
Pre-registration is intended for users aged 13 and older.
To withdraw your pre-registration or delete your information, please contact privacy@orumio.com.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to do any of the following when using the Site:

Violate laws, infringe third-party rights, or publish personal / sensitive information without consent
Pre-register with false information or impersonate another person
Scrape, reverse-engineer, attack vulnerabilities, or impose excessive load
Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially use Site content without permission
Use the Site in violation of sanctions or export-control laws
Engage in any other conduct we deem inappropriate

6. Intellectual Property

Copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the text, images, design, logos, and other expressions on the Site belong to the Operator or to their rightful owners.
Users may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute these beyond the scope of personal use.

7. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided "as is", without express or implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Except for cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Mandatory law reservation: Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability or warranty disclaimers. In such cases, these Terms are modified to the extent required by applicable law, and the mandatory provisions take precedence.

8. Third-Party Services

The Site uses the following third-party services. Use of these services is also subject to each provider's terms and policies.

Infrastructure: Vercel (hosting, Functions), Neon (PostgreSQL database)
Analytics: PostHog (event capture)

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Disputes are subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court for the first instance (except as otherwise required by consumer-protection laws).

10. Language

The Japanese version of these Terms is the authoritative version. The English version is for reference only; in the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

11. Notices

Notices from us may be given by Site posting or by sending to your registered email address. Notices are deemed received at the time of sending (with reasonable exceptions).
